SILENT KEY UPDATE

It is with great sadness we have to announce the passing of long time GERATOLer, Larry, K9BJM from IL.

Many of us worked Larry over the years, and we wish to express our condolences to the family and friends on his passing.

NEWS ABOUT N1KL/Remote QSL CARDS

I wanted to take a minute to insure all of you who worked me this season while I have been operating various remote stations/states, that you will indeed be receiving my QSL cards via snail mail. I printed out the cards, and will put them in the mail this week.

Thanks for your patience, and here are the stations that I have sent me a QSL, and the various locations from which I was transmitting when I worked you:

GERATOL SPECIAL EVENT STATION IS NOW ACTIVE !!

Special Event station, W1G, commemorating our 50+ years as a Worked All States net is now active. It has been active on 3.668 the last three evenings (Thank you Steve, AC0SG and Frosty W0FP) for activating. It will also be active on other bands, in the Extra Class portion of the bands. See QRZ pages for W1G for specifics.

A reminder, there is a special endorsement for working W1G that will go along with the Call Area Challenge Certificate.
