Century DX
Work all 50 states, utilizing Extra Class call formats 1×2, 2×1, and 2x2A, where the suffix of the U.S. call sign represents the prefix of a DX country. The following rules apply:
- Each of the calls used must have the PREFIX of a DX country represented in the suffix.
- On 2×1 calls, use the letter, or the district number and the letter in the suffix.
- Some countries have more than one prefix. You can only use a country once. Example: Italy uses four prefixes, if you use I, that’s it.
- Some prefixes are not usable, for example 3D2, T2 and V6.
- Use either ARRL DXCC or the one in 1990 or later callbook.
- Send a copy of the ones you use with your application for the endorsement. Also once you use one of the lists, stick with it and do not change.
- Examples: WM0G – use G for England; WC5T – use 5T for Mauritania. AA5CO – use CO for Cuba and K1BY – use BY for China.
- You must make 100 contacts, no more than three from each state.
- All contacts must be after 0500Z on 13 February, 1990
